2024 E3 GALA

On Thursday, May 17, it looked like 250 Carole Robertson Center for Learning supporters gathering at Venue West for our annual E3 Gala. It looked like a diverse lineup of awardees and speakers inspiring attendees to invest in Chicago’s young learners.

Thank you to everyone who said “yes” to supporting the Center’s work—our mission is stronger because of you.

60TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, six decades since the unthinkable tragedy, that claimed the lives of Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, and Cynthia Wesley, we gathered with community members and fellow partners in change, rededicating ourselves to serving children, youth, and families with the spirit of hope, healing, and resiliency.

2021 ANNUAL CELEBRATION

About This Event

In May of 2021, our closest friends and funders joined us for “Recess,” the Carole Robertson Center for Learning’s first-ever virtual Annual Celebration! This event celebrated and underscored the importance of play and joy during a child’s development. The celebration included inspiring speeches, moving videos, an introduction from The Honorable Lori E. Lightfoot and a keynote address from LaTanya McDade, Chief Education Officer of Chicago Public Schools.
