For more than 45 years, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning has served as a community beacon, working by, for, and with those we serve. As we continue to grow, we have also increased our focus on community-based advocacy, through which our families and staff are empowered to contribute to policy conversations and decisions that have a direct impact on their lives.

In our advocacy blueprint, Amplifying Voices, Advancing Advocacy you’ll learn more about our community-based advocacy priorities, which center the lived experiences of our families, provider partners, and workforce as we engage with supporters and policymakers.

From our humble beginnings in 1976, the Carole Robertson Center has been committed to unlocking potential in disinvested communities — one of our guiding principles is “For Communities, By Communities and With Communities.” Through our evolution into the organization we are today, we have thrived due to our connections to the children, families, and communities we serve.

In our new report, “Deepening Our Roots and Impact Across Chicago” you’ll find our story of growth, impact, and optimism for the future
