Volunteer Opportunities

We’re always in need of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help inside and outside the classrooms. Below are some ways you can help.

Every winter, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning partners with our friends and supporters to host a Holiday Gift-Giving Drive that ensures children and youth enrolled in our early childhood education and youth development programs receive a special gift during the holiday season.

Donate or volunteer to make a child’s holiday brighter!

Thank you for helping us ring in a cheerful holiday season for Chicago’s families.

Corporate Groups

corporate volunteer opportunities

Our corporate volunteer groups have worked in the classroom as teacher aides, chaperoned outdoor play events, and kick-started our beautification projects. We will work with you to identify volunteer opportunities that align with your philanthropic goals and build relationships within your team.

Individual Volunteers

We have both one-time and regular volunteer opportunities during our weekday hours of operation, from 9:00am to 6:00pm, as teacher aides and school-age tutors. We also have ad-hoc volunteer needs, and are willing to work with you to identify a volunteer opportunity suited to your interests.
