
As Chief of Staff, Laura provides close support to the Center’s CEO and manages high-priority initiatives such as programmatic expansion, key external partnerships, and the strategic planning process. Laura has spent her career in service to youth development and educational organizations across Chicago, managing key relationships that align to organizational goals and priorities. Before joining the Carole Robertson Center, she held various development and executive support roles at organizations including the YMCA of the USA, DePaul University, University of Chicago, and After School Matters. Laura is a member of the 2025 cohort of the Civic Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago. She has also served as an elected member of the Local School Council for Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary School, a Chicago public school. Laura received her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago and her Master of Science in Public Service Management from DePaul University.
